The Demon Throne Archmage

Archmage Lucien seals an ancient demon into a wheelchair throne, sitting 10 years purifying it while the Beaumonts mock him as a cripple; only Eleanor honors their oath. On the final night the family forces him to stand to impress the Ashfords, breaking the seal; the patriarch is killed, Lucien leaves, and the family faces total ruin.
